Blush can be difficult to do sometimes. A little too much, and you can start to look like a clown or like you're really incredibly embarrassed. Using two shades for blush can make it look much more natural.
"Mimic a natural flush. Swirl peach blush on cheekbones, then add pink to the apples. The diffused combo is so sweet, says celeb makeup artist Kristofer Buckle."

Fabulous Tip of the Day: Berry Blush
Today's Fab Tip:
"A berry blush livens up your whole face. Brush on the apples of cheeks; sweep out to the sides of your face."

Berry is great for a natural-looking flush, especially in fall, but be sure to choose a lip color that doesn't compete with it. You don't want your face to look too red, after all.

Fabulous Tip of the Day: Fixing Streaked Blush
Today's Fab Tip:
"If you get a blush streak on the cheek, buff the entire area down with a clean non-latex sponge. Then subtly add back the amount of color you want. Don't correct a streak by filling it in with more color; that's a recipe for a rouge riot."

"Dab a cerise-colored gel blush onto cheeks, then coat lips with a matching crayon. Complementary pops of color look pulled together and brighten your face instantly."

"To make [bronzer] look natural,... go back over the bronzed areas with the same brush, though this time with some translucent powder. Swirl the brush around until there are no lines between the bronzed and unbronzed skin."

This is an incredibly useful tip to prevent the look of a line of bronzer if you use a contour brush to apply it. You can use the same concept to blend bronzer and blush together if you apply too much of both, and this will give your face a very natural, sun-kissed flush.

This is very true, especially if you use a big fluffy powder brush to blend for a very natural-looking flush. My favorite powder blush is Nars in Orgasm, one of the best powder blushes out there.
