Fabulous Tip of the Day: The New Way To Style A Polo Shirt
Today's Fab Tip:
Here's an update on a classic preppy staple, the polo shirt.
"How do you make a sporty staple look new? Dress it up in a way that's more pretty than preppy. A streamlined skirt, like a wrap or pencil style, strikes a sophisticated note and tempers the tennis connotations. Add polished pumps and easily go from desk to drinks. If girlie isn't your thing, highlight the top's boyish charm with your favorite pair of broken-in skinny jeans. Now, that's how to up your style game."

If you go with the skirt pairing, wear classic pumps, but if you utilize the skinny jeans suggestion, like I have, go with ballet flats or ankle boots. Finish off the look with a pair of oversize sunglasses, a low ponytail, and lip gloss.

Fabulous Tip of the Day: Dress Up Your Jeans With Statement Pumps
Today's Fab Tip:
"The best way to glam up jeans? Make sure your shoes do the talking by hunting out statement heels with eye-catching details and fabrics. Team with skinny black denim and everyone will be too busy looking at your feet to notice you've broken the dress code."

There are times when you go out to a party or club and don't feel like wearing a dress, or you haven't done your laundry, and jeans are the only clean things left. (Is that just me? I can't be the only one.) A pair of glamorous heels, whether sparkly, in a shiny fabric, holographic, bejeweled, et cetera, will always dress up your outfit, even if it's a pair of skinny jeans and a button-down. Wear some sparkly earrings or necklace to balance out the look.

Fabulous Tip of the Day: Acne Treatment
Today's Fab Tip:
"Dab on acne medication with a cotton swab, not your fingertip. The sterile cotton will contain the treatment (translation: fewer scaly patches) and prevent bacteria from transferring from your hands."

This is a tried and true tip, believe me. It's a lot easier to apply, is more sanitary, and keeps the acne treatment from getting all over your fingers, which I hate.

Sling it over the shoulder of a fitted sheath for a hip, dashing-from-the-front-row-at-fashion-week vibe."

This is a great way to work stylish layers as the weather starts to get cooler.
